How to add Interia mail to multiboxi
Interia lets mail programs connect over IMAP and SMTP. On a new account you first need to turn this on in the mail settings.
What you need
- Access to Interia mail in a browser.
- The “korzystam z programu pocztowego” (I use a mail program) option turned on.
Step by step
- Sign in to Interia mail in a browser. In settings choose the main settings, then parameters.
- Next to the mail program option, set “korzystam z programu pocztowego” to TAK (yes).
- In multiboxi choose “Add a mailbox”, then “Other server”. Enter the settings from the table below, your email address and mail password.
- The wizard asks which country the provider is in. Choose Poland.
- The wizard checks the connection and shows the mailbox folders. Give the mailbox a name and a colour.
Server settings
| Server | Port | Encryption | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Incoming mail (IMAP) | poczta.interia.pl | 993 | SSL/TLS |
| Outgoing mail (SMTP) | poczta.interia.pl | 465 | SSL/TLS |
| Username | full email address | ||
Good to know
- We plan to add a ready-made Interia tile to the wizard. Until then, “Other server” does the job.
If something does not work
- Wrong password message: check that you are entering the app password (without spaces), not your main password, and that IMAP access is turned on.
- You can enter a new password later in the mailbox settings in multiboxi, without removing the mailbox.
