How to add Onet mail to multiboxi
For addresses on Onet domains such as onet.pl, op.pl and vp.pl. multiboxi connects to Onet mail over IMAP and SMTP.
What you need
- Access to Onet mail in a browser.
- Access for mail programs (IMAP) turned on in the mail settings.
- An app password, if your account uses two-step verification.
Step by step
- Sign in to Onet mail in a browser and check in the settings that access for mail programs (IMAP) is turned on.
- If you use two-step verification, create an app password in your account settings and copy it.
- In multiboxi choose “Add a mailbox”, then the Onet tile. Enter your email address and password.
- The wizard checks the connection and shows the mailbox folders. Give the mailbox a name and a colour.

Good to know
- Onet changes the names of items in its settings, so we do not quote them word for word. If you cannot find them, search Onet help for “hasło do aplikacji” (app password) or “IMAP”.
- Without two-step verification you connect with your mail password. It is worth turning it on and using an app password, though.
If something does not work
- Wrong password message: check that you are entering the app password (without spaces), not your main password, and that IMAP access is turned on.
- You can enter a new password later in the mailbox settings in multiboxi, without removing the mailbox.
